Giving & Class Gift
Collapse WindowClass of ’68 working to super-size our reunion gift!
The 50th Reunion Committee has set some ambitious goals for our reunion and has designated three projects to celebrate our class. Progress toward our goals will be tracked here.
Our Goals
• $15,000,000 in total giving to all areas of William & Mary
• 50% class participation
Our Projects
Class of 1968 Scholarship Endowment
This Endowment will be used to provide need-based scholarship support for undergraduate students at the College of William & Mary who have been selected as Monroe Scholars, or its successor program.
Alumni House Renovation and Expansion
The expanded Alumni House will serve as a gateway to campus and provide new space for events, programming and staff. Additional space will allow the university to host class reunions and other alumni functions, and use by students and faculty will be commonplace.
1693 Scholarship Program Fund
The 1693 Scholars are selected by faculty as the very best and brightest of William & Mary’s entire applicant pool. In addition to receiving in-state tuition, room, board and fees, 1693 Scholars have the opportunity to work closely with distinguished faculty mentors and engage in independent research and service projects. There are typically 20 scholars on campus each year. The Class of 1968 seeks support for the 1693 Scholarship Program Fund which enhances the scholars’ experiences.
